I have a Lowe side console boat with the angled t-track on it, does anybody have any ideas or suggestions for rod storage using the t-track? The floor space is too limited for conventional storage using tubes under the front deck and using upright rod storage isn't an option because of low hanging branches in the creeks. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I saw a fella at Holiday last year that had mounted some dubro rod hangers to custom bent strips of aluminum that, once attached between the underside of his gunnels and deck, would hold the rods just under the gunnels. He had a 20' boat and was able to have four rods stored this way.

I could see where you could fashion something similar to utilize the t-rack. I am debating doing the same thing with my boat to keep the rods from being in the way.

I wish my Xpress had t-track gunnels, so many gadgets and doohickies I could dream up to mount on them.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

I don't think I'll be able to mount anything to hold my rods between the gunnels and deck because of the console on one side and the gun box on the other side. I'm thinking that I'll have to go with something that sticks up above the t tracks

check out WJR Customs site on Facebook.
Joe is a great guy and can build anything you can dream up for the T rail.
He has done several parts for my Havoc and he's working on the speaker box now done in digital camo to match the boat.

I used carriage bolts that I ground the head into a T shape. Put it in the track, turn 90*, and use a wing nut to tighten down. You should be able to make something out of PVC pretty easy.
