Bass Club of the West is having tourney their today. My marine mechanic, Cal is a member and fishing there.
He says the fishing is terrible there now.
Anyone have any better experience on Lake Worth lately ?

God Bless
Lee

Went out this morning for 3 hours had 7 bites flipping a black & blue jig, big fish about 3lbs. Water temp was 54-57, fish were on the walls, also if you see a lay down better flip it.

That lake stinks but I did catch a 7 pounder out of it in Kings Of Cowtown a couple years ago so I do know there's good ones there.

Fished last Thursday from 8am to 11:30am. Water temp. 50 - 52. Had one bite, caught the 2 pounder on a Roboworm in about 4 ft. of water. If the lake level stays up into the spring and summer, Worth might be pretty good with all the shallow grass/vegetation that is flooded.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Try the river flipping and soaking, not stroking a 5/16 ounce black & blue jig with black claw trailer. fish hooked peep

Worth is my favorite lake in DFW.... give it a little more time Lee, the water needs to be a little warmer for Worth to get right. thumb

If your the type to fish shallow then lake worth is your style lake. Another 4-6 degrees warmer and it will turn on. Fun little lake to fish.
