Fishing was ok today. 12.5 Striper and the whites keep getting bigger. White bass are scattered every were. Creeks, lake you name it.
Big fish came on a Moes dead head with fluke that was sitting right next to a live bait rod...go figure

Nice fish. We did good day also. Sand bass were some of the biggest I have seen. Stripers we caught were short. Did better on chartreuse slabs than flukes. Release them back to the water to spawn.

Nice striper thumb

On dead head fluke vs live bait rod, fish are like some people, live baits look like works but "dead or injured" fluke looks like easy hand out, lol.

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Nice catch! PK changes week to week. Seems the big fish just won't stay in one place. 1 week we're catching several Stripers each drift, the next week there all gone.
