I realize alot of people are not gonna wanna give me much info, and,I can't say I blame them however...I'm new to the area and have never been on Fork so I'm looking for any help on any part of fishing it. What,where,when,color,baits,etc...anything. again I understand I'm asking alot but if anyone has any suggestions pm me or post here-whatever your comfortable with. Thanks in advance...Tight Lines

It is my feeling that Fork fishes in small areas! You have to find the sweet spot of any general areas to really get bit. That being said, and it shows I am no expert, but there are some good bridges, points, submerged bridges, and submerged roadbeds. Find places where these intersect creek channels or extend as shallow flats near deep water and fish! The guides on Fork have been posting good information lately on specific baits and their color preferences. Have a good read.

Go to www.ets-systems.com and click on fishing report. The fishing reports are updated regularly. These are some of the best and most accurate reports I have ever seen by guides.

Just fish the lake like there ain't a single tree in it. I asked the same questions when I first got out there. Take what you know and apply it. Vague I know, but I hope this helps.

Take a guide trip and they can show you patterns that work. Not to mention how to save yourself lots of boat repair.

Download a copy of Lake Fork Boatlanes and install it on your unit.

Beg, borrow or find a copy of Martins Map and study it. You can get it in laminated form, or disc form.

With this warm weather they will be headed toward the bank. Trap, spinnerbait, chatterbait thrown at the dirt will get you bit. Keep moving until you get bit.

Don't feel bad when you get skunked cause it happens to the best of them.
Fork can be a very humbling lake and a very good lake.
One day you'll think you have them figured out then the next time out you'd swear there wasn't a fish in the lake.
