Howdy again!

Crappie Madness continues at Bass Pro Shops this weekend. I will be hosting another round of seminars at the Garland location...up on the 2nd floor next to the fishing section: texas

Friday, Feb 12...7:00pm welcome
Saturday, Feb 13...11:00am and 2:00pm fish

Last weekend was a great time interacting with a lot of great people...talking about one of our passions...and this week should be no different.

I'll be fishing Friday morning to catch some fish for the display during the seminars. If you have kids, bring them on out and we will set up a photo booth for them to take photos with actual crappie...not a mount.

I'll customize the seminars to make sure that we cover everything you would like to know about.

Look forward to seeing you out there.

Just pulled into bass pro shops to get everything set up for today. Looking forward to another great day of talking about our passion for fishing! Come on out and join me at 11 o'clock or 2 o'clock. We had a full house last night and will be adding some extra chairs today. The seminars will be upstairs over by the fishing section.

Thanks man...enjoyed the 2-week event for sure! I'll be following this up with a monthly round-table seminar series. I'll have the dates posted ASAP...looking to see what day out of the month works best. Looking at the 3rd Thursday of each month, but that not set in stone yet.

I was at Bass Pro purchasing some baits and ran into Duck Jerky seminar. I walked away with a ton of new knowledge about crappie. Carey seminars are always informative. They both will flatten your learning curve a great deal.

All I know is that Brian must have stuffed that crappie with that gizzard shad after he caught him... there is NO WAY a crappie is gonna continue feeding if it's got some shad in it already! Or at least I think that's what I have read somewhere!!!! LOL roflmao

Yeah...for those who don't know...one of the female crappie I had on display at the seminars had a 4-5" shad 1/2 way down her throat...and still hit my jig. The fish have been feeding hard in the creek the last month. The front floor of my boat has had shad on it after every trip lately.
