About a month ago there was a post about Fun N' Sun tackle and boat show. I mentioned that I had gone to the show and stopped after at APT to look at for a new Dobyn's rod. I like their Champion Series but I choke on the price. They asked me if I had seen the new Fury series (lower price point but still great product and warranty) which I had not. They quoted me a price of $99.99. So after "testing" several I picked one out and asked them to hold it for me. When I had finished shopping and was checking out and they said they were wrong the price was $109.99 but since they told me $99.99 then that's what they would charge me. Said then even though it is a 40 trip there I would be back.
Fast forward to today. I wanted a rod to drop shot and shakey head fish with. I was convinced I wanted a Fury 702SF. When I got there I also mentioned I would also like to use the rod to skip under docks so they recommended to 703SF which is a little heavier. After "testing" both rods, I took the rod they recommended. After talking for a few minutes I mentioned the last rod purchase and experience and he said that I could have that rod for $99.99 as well.
Great customer service! That's why I drove almost 80 miles round trip to buy the rod from them.

APT has the greatest bait selection I have ever seen. Tons of specialty brands and JPN baits that are hard to find. Awesome prices on Tungsten. Good people for sure.
