Did Robinson mount those fish? Looks like his style of mounts!

Are those boats even still made? I haven't seen one since the mid-70s on Toledo Bend. I want one.

phototex! The Mocassin? I was thinking the same thing. It sort of reminds me, shape-wise, of the Gheenoe out of Florida so popular down there. Brad Here is the website: Mocassin Boat

The company is still in business better than ever. Water Moccasin Outdoors Stonewall Lousiana New Owners have lots of models Very affordable for fishing creeks, small lakes etc. Mine is the 14 ft 2 man, aerated live well, navigation lights, interior lights, boat cleats, anchor cleat. switch panel, really comfortable seats. They make the trailer also. Tell them John Lee Smith sent you for a good deal!

No, not Robson. These fish were mounted by Mike Stewart who worked for Goodyear in Shreveport. They have never been displayed in any marina or anywhere else other than Herb's Bass Pro Shop in Shreveport, LA in 1978

John! It has been a LONG time since ive gotten on here and seen you post. You may or may not remember me, but its been about 5 or 6 years since we last met. I took you up on an offer to go fish that pond and we hooked your boat up to my truck and we jig fished for all of 6 or 7 hours. I learned so much during that trip and that trip along sparked my obsession and built my confidence in fishing jigs. I now have one tied on every single fishing trip.
You gave me one of your jigs and I cant count how many fish I caught on it, I had to make new skirts for it until I lost it to a big ol fish on lake fork that wrapped me up in a 25 ft brushpile.
Id love to get with you again and fish sometime!

Hey Seeterbuzz you need to put an old lowranceflasher on your boat and get rid of all those high tech gizmos and you might find one of my holes! Ha if igadhadall that stuff back then there wouldn't be any more fish in the lake Thanks a million my map in my book gets a lot more specific. Thank you for your support. Hope you catch 10 9 pounders one day!
