Who are some of the good ones here in the DFW area? thought about getting with one or two for crappie and hybrids to learn how to key in on em especially using the fishfinders!!

Matt or Shane Davies www.shanedaviesguide.com. Granted, I don't think Shane uses a fish finder. He just knows how to catch em.

Shane Davies, I've never been with him but have fished around him alot and seems to know the river behind Whitney pretty well.

The other two I would reccommend that know the creeks and crappie around here are Tarponfly and Carver.

Thank you guys for the recommendations. For the past five years I've been about as hardcore of a kayak angler as there is. Last year I decided to make a life change and start taking people kayak fishing for a living. I've fished kayak bass tournaments all around the country and consistently done well. Growing up in Texas and living all over the state afforded me the ability to fish just not in North Texas but everywhere from East Matagorda and Galveston Bay, to the border lakes of Amistad and Texoma, and just about everywhere in between. I love to fish and most importantly now I LIVE to fish! Species doesn't really matter I'm proficient at finding and catching a multitude of fish species.

dating back a few years, here is my kayak tournament fishing history:

2012 P.K.A.A - O.H Ivie North VS. South (4th)
NTKBF – Purtis Creek (4th)
NTKBF – Mineral Wells (2nd)
2013 NTKT – Ray Roberts (6th)
NTKT – Joe Pool (4th)
P.K.A.A – Grapevine (2nd)
NTKBF – Benbrook (1st)
NTKT – Benbrook (3rd) BB*
NTKBF – White Rock (1st)
NTKT – Grapevine (1st)
NTKBF – Lake Fork (1st)
NTKT – Lake Bridgeport (2nd)
2014 CCKT – Purtis Creek (10th)
CCKT – Ray Hubbard (2nd)
KATS – Lake Bastrop (7th)
KATS – Lake Ray Roberts (2nd)
Beavers Bend Kayak Classic – Broken Bow (2nd)
APT Shoot-out (1st)
2015 KATS – Ladybird (10th)
KBS – Lake Sam Rayburn (6th)
Beavers Bend Kayak Classic - Broken Bow (2nd)
Hobie World Qualifier Kentucky Lake – (6th)
KBS – Kentucky Lake (2nd)
Backwoods Kayak Fishing Series “Brazos River below Whitney” - (3rd)
Mariner Sails – Lake Amon Carter (2nd)
KBS Classic - Lake Guntersville (6th)
APT TXKAA - Lake Ray Roberts (1st)
KBF Open – Toledo Bend (2nd)

Let me know if I can be of service to you Jasoniam
