Does anybody use one of these?
Looks easier to install than marine goop etc.
Downside looks like it might clutter the topside.

I use one for my SI FF. I have it attached to the track on my gunwale, near the bow. In open water, it's out of the way and not a problem. For SI, the transducer must be in the water, so mounting choices are limited. I always used through hull with non-SI units.

Hmmmm. I do not have tracks or SI. Might be better off mounting through the hull with foam and goop. OK Drifter
Just thought this would be easier and less permanent.

It is definitely easier and less permanent. You just need to try different things and see what works for you. There are just too many variables in kayak fishing for a "one size fits all" approach.

I use a YakAttack mount for the screen and a Mad Frog Liberator for the transducer. I bought a RAM transducer arm but found it had more drag and was harder to bend out of the water when needed compared to the Mad Frog.
