I'm trying to be more proficient with my electronics, and spent a lot of saturday just graphing. I found this and thought it was interesting, but wasn't 100% sure what I was looking at. It looks like a brush pile/rocks in a ditch, but I'm not sure if there were fish mixed in there or not. I fished it for about an hour with no luck.

What are yalls thoughts?

Shad on top with some fish lurking near. One decent looking fish feeding on the shad above the pile at 8-10foot.

Looks like you got stuck on a cloverleaf and couldn't figure out how to exit.

It's a pile.

Did you fish that spot and what did you catch? Pile with shad and lots of bigger fish around it

Yup. Man-made brushpile with big fish nearby. That little 3 foot depression looks like the end of a little feeder creek channel. Nice spot.

Did you have any luck there?

Looks like you have your contrast set a tad low on sidescan. What do you have it on?

Nah. Looks like bait holding over a decaying clump of a stump. Wish my Helix was that clear.

I would make a couple passes over the ditch to the north west of the brush like you almost went over it once. That's just me though

There were a lot of lay downs there and I couldn't get much closer than I already did.

I fished the lay downs too with no luck

Obviously a brush pile with some fish and stumps but the image could be better. When you find that sweet spot or something you want to take a closer look at switch over to 800 kHz for a more detailed image. If you're not already, take your contrast off auto and work it up and down to get a crisp clean picture. I personally like the blue palette better than this one but that's just me.

Nice looking spot there though...
