Thanks

Anything going on under the 274 bridge or 175 yet?

Anything chartreuse from Jiggum Jigs (now Jerry's Jigs), Crazy Angler, or Thermocline will put fish on your stringer. As mentioned above, it won't matter much for the next two months, but these worked for me back in the day. A 1/16 ounce head is more important than color this time of year. When the fish are in 2-6ft of water, you'll need a little more time for them to react. If I had to pick my favorite shallow water, big girl bait of all time, it would be that little yeller frog.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I better order me some Jigs. Just got moved in at the lake and need to catch up on my fishing. Living on the lake is going to be great, just have to start learning the lake so I can do some catching and not all looking.lol

Jigs are on the way. Ordered some from a couple of different places just to have a variety. Had a great conversation with Jerry from Jerry's Jigs. Was a great help on getting the best selection for my order. May turn out to be an expensive conversation tho, since he was talking to me about the G-Rod crappie rod. (There goes my allowance again) Also had a very good conversation with Matthew Carrol. Hopefully we can get together before too long and hit a few spots on the lake.
Thanks for all the great info from everyone.

Since the lake got dingy from the flood, this indigo/chartreuse has been my best color. When the lake clears again, a dark gray color that Lane calls Shaddaboy is also very good here, something you may want to add to the arsenal, in addition to all the good colors mentioned earlier.

Thanks for all the great info from everyone. Was a pleasure speaking with you. Your jigs are packed and will be shipped with today's shipments. Please don't hesitate to call if you have any further questions. I'm also going to throw in some of my favorite plastics for ya, along with a few keeper jig heads. Here's to hoping you and Mr. Carroll can land a few fish together. Something tells me he might know where a few Cedar Creek fish hang out. God bless ya, Mr. Z.
