Time for me to head out to my favorite, jam packed, crowded, shoulder to shoulder sandbass creek, to see if they advance scouts are stirring:

With any dumb luck at all, I might end up with something resembling this:

Or with an enormous amount of dumb luck, a pile like this:

We'll see.

Beautiful creek. Very good looking water. Don't seem to be full of log jams. Nice pictures.

Love your dedication Rudy. I won't drive over 30 minutes to catch white bass, lol. It's much better scenery than we have around here though, that's for sure.

This is a 35 minute drive from my front door. I live in the middle of the city, near Love Field airport. Hidden gem. It has its share of brush, laydowns, and boulders. The brush and laydowns hold crappie, and the boulders, black bass. Makes for a bit of variety.

Ah, OK. From the image URLs, I thought you were going to a creek far south of here.

Yep, I know where you are talking about. For a minute there, I thought you were driving to Lake Travis.

So do I! I was there Wednesday afternoon in my Raider with another guy(Robert) in a Kayak. It is very beautiful. The water is crystal clear with underwater boulders & Laydowns that you can see but there is one thing I didn`t see.My guess is they haven`t made the transition yet or maybe I just overlooked them.GOOD LUCK Rudy
