Long story short. My son in law passed away and he had a Ranger Z21 Bass Boat. I inherited it. I have had boats all my life and currently have a Tracker. The Ranger has the all electronic ignition. I charged the batteries and can get it to turn over but it will not start. It was last ran 4 months ago so I know it runs. I checked the plug and it has a strong spark. Both tanks have fuel in them. And I verified the tank switch is in the on position. It cranks over but will not fire up with either tank. It has the foot throttle installed. Any pointers? Bulb is firm so I know it has gas in the lines. When I try starting it, I use the electronic choke. Still no start. Is there a fuel line valve some where that I need to turn on? Or is there an emergency pull switch somewhere that I need to reset (the kind you hook to your clothes in the event you fall overboard it shuts the engine down). I cannot find any reference to that in the manual.

Where are you? Yes it will have an emergency kill switch. What Motor brand, model and ? But if it has spark that is not the problem. How long has boat been setting? Could have the electric fuel pump or pumps not working.

Check the kill switch. Should be on or around the gear shift

I am in Lago Vista Texas. The boat was only sitting for about 4 months. I found the emergency kill sw. and it now has the key on it that pulls the switch out and arms it. So that is eliminated. I think it is a fuel issue or a fuel valve that is off. I might just have to take it into the shop.

Tell Mark Hanson I said Hi. Pender can fix it. Still you not telling us what motor is on this boat matters. 4 months can be too long with the gas we have now days.

Let me ask you this, does the fuel bulb pump up firm? Do you hear the electric high pressure pump come on when you turn the key on?
