How's Fayette this past weekend? Also, anyone know if there is a tourney this weekend?
I want to take the kayak out and dust off. Anyone have recommendation on which park is better for kayak fishing?

The fishing dock on the south side of the Park Prairie ramp is where I launched my kayak many times, it is easier to get to the discharge/intake from there. There are several coves on that side that you can stay out of the wind and still fish. It does get rough so plan ahead. I did well in the intake this past weekend for the few hours I went out this past weekend. There is also a pond dam north of the Park Prairie ramp that I have done well on also out of the kayak.

Thanks guys. Winds are forecast 5-10 MPH from the NE, so I think I can get out of the wind a bit.

Sounds like there could be close to a hundred boats out there Saturday. Could well be the busiest day of the year. That little lake gets beat to death this time of year.
