Any way to find out how many hours you have on a motor without having to take the boat to the dealership?? Trying to determine if I listen to the "no maintenance for 300 hours" ... Wanting to change out lower unit oil but not sure if there is a need. Thank you!!!

Get you own program disc for a laptop. Loosen the bottom drain plug just enough to see the lower oils color dark= change it.

Warden BRP says to perform first service on the E-Tecs after three hundred hours or three years which ever comes first. Seeing as to yours is 2012 model I would suspect it is due. To answer your question you need a computer to retrieve hours or I-Con gauge ( BRP Gauge ).
