Yep. Saw the same thing yesterday. Caught over 100 in about two hours. Ripping spoons up from the bottom. Actually was targeting LMs. Caught three....then the Whites showed up. Had fun.

Saw the same at eagle mountain last weekend. Tons of fish at 30 ft, looked like sandbass and baitfish mostly to me. I couldn't catch any of it.

Yea we threw A-rig and under spins but didn't get any. Water was real cold and muddy.

That is strange they would not hit the a-rig. Next time try down sizing your a-rig bait. That worked for me before on Athens. I had to downsize to a 2 inch Storm swim bait. They would not eat the bigger one.

Tie on a couple of crappie jigs,..about 12" apart..drop them right at the depth, and hold them still.
lighter colors seem to work best. fish
