Flip the switch for the power poles yesterday morning and instead of the typical green light I had a red light. Well they didn't work but we're not needed all day. Any idea what this means?

Mine did that to me a few times when it was below freezing but started working within an hour or less.

Called Power Pole and they said the same thing. When it's cold out the fluid is thicker and as a protection it shuts off the system. There are 2 remedies. 1) press up for about thirty seconds to heat up the system then they should go down. 2) My poles are 2010 models with an older firmware. To update to the newer firmware you need a pc or android phone. Download the power poke app and there's an update option that allows you to update the system via Bluetooth with the android or a mini usb cord with the pc. Just passing on what I found out so I hope it helps
