Not sure what your asking.... Looks like it would be a navigation light switch. One way for anchor and the other way for navigation.

The pic is too small to see and when I make it bigger it gets blurry.

But you should have power coming in to a prong, then a prong that has power when flipped on should run to an anchor light. With the switch flipped the other direction you should have the now hot prong running to the navigation lights. And of course you need a ground.

Should be 4 prongs, 1 is always hot, 2 are hot when switched on and a ground prong. But like I mentioned, it might be different, pic is horrible.

We need a better image of the switch diagram to be able to tell you anything. The ebay listing is useless for telling us anything we need to know so that we can tell you how to wire it.

Next time: Take photos of switch connections before you disconnect them! That often helps avoid not knowing what wire goes where, even if you do not understand it.

Maybe someone can decipher it for you. I read it as 7 being the ground and 8 being the constant hot/positive. 5 being one of your light choices and 2 being the other light choice. (((I might be completely wrong though)))

got it figured out....2 and 5 were hot leads from fuse block, 3 and 6 were positive leads to lights, 7 was ground...and made the switch light work.

It's a DPDT switch used to switch between running and anchor lights but I have no idea what the wiring shown is supposed to be. Usually the 12VDC fees the switch at the center posts and ground doesn't even connect to the switch. The switch is off in the middle position, one way turns on the nav lights and the opposite way turns on the anchor light.

The same thing can be done with s SPDT switch but that requires the use of an additional diode.

Not in his case, Bob. He has an unusual switch that is OFF-ON-ON, so that the center position isn't "OFF" as you are stating about many typical NAV light switches.

Possibly. It's "jacked up" because it's OFF-ON-ON instead of the old-school ON-OFF-ON (which is way simpler to understand!)

ON-OFF-ON is far from "old school"...........they're still showin' up on schematics/one lines, new install equip. today...
ac and dc controls.

Oh, I did not mean to say they were "out" when I said old school. I guess I should have said "tried and true" as the center off switches have a very simple and reliable mechanical design. I prefer them.
