any report on the Brazos near Hamm Creek or Kimball Bend, I plan on going Friday and trying to decide on where to put in?

Just an FYI, kimball bend is closed down, the park is closed until further notice! You can launch at Chisholm trail for the closest ramp.

what about Nolan River Park? Used to catch a lot of crappie from the bank back when Corp still maintained the roads. Last time down there it was 4X4 terrain.

Nolan river park is open. Should be good fishing in the Nolan. There's plenty of fish.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but I've never had an issue leaving the truck and trailer at Nolan river park.
