Ive been looking for a used motor for awhile now. anyone know of a dealer ship or someone who rebuilds and sells as a part time? I remember a few years ago there was a gentleman that rebuilt them in hurst. I'm looking for a 150-175 hp been trying to find a mercury xr6 to mount on a very large aluminum boat I am finishing up. Thanks for any leads.

Whats for price range? I have a 150 mercury four stroke thats about ready to be for sale.

like to stay close to the 3k range as possible. Just looking for the most reliable motor I can find that's easy to work on. It's gonna be pushing a custom built 18x8 aluminum hull with allot of weight in it.

Thanks for all the info and recommendations guys boatwhisper got in contact with me and had the exact motor I have been searching for. Can't wait to hang this motor and run the boat I've Been working on it for almost 2 years now and I can finally see the end.

can we we see pics of your boat
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
