The creeks on my home lake are not accessible and I would like to try some creek fishing before it warms up. Not trying to get any secret spots-just curious if any of the creeks on Raybob are holding crappie now. I know they have been deep but wasn't sure if they had run up any of the arms yet.

There should be crappie in all of the creeks on Ray Roberts right now.

Roberts is 3ft high. I would expect the creeks to be out of their banks up a ways. Anybody have info on that?

If I was creek fishing I would be at the bottom of a dam somewhere. Dem Sac-a-laits will be stacked up right there for a while. Bout daylight thirty they gonna hem them little silver snack foods up against the rip rap and have some breakfast.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

The 428 park which is a few miles south of the dam has been producing pretty well the last few weeks.

You got me in trouble Muzzlebrake. I showed my wife your tag line and she didn't think it was very funny at all. Now she's dreaming up honey-do's

I bunch are still flooded. The ones that aren't are still hard to get to. Muddy for sure. They're in there.

Appreciate the info. I'm trying to learn these lakes as I am new to the area (I grew up on Grenada). Ronnie, thanks for the welcome.

I am also new to the area. I was a salt water fisherman and now want to be a freshwater fisherman. I would like to learn to catch crappie. I have a boat and live near Lakes Ray Roberts and Lewisville. Is there a map of brush piles in these lakes?
