I called OK Tourism, I told them I wanted to fish the Blue River.
I ask them to send me what I needed to know about getting there. They sent me a
map that has no river names with NO State parks marked. They sent me a OK dining book
and the general tourism with NO info about getting to the Blue River!
So I give up on the state OK tourism!

Now after all that, how do I get to the Blue River from north of Dallas, in Frisco.
Thanks folks! texas

Very Kind Regards,

And just to elaborate on the directions in the link above, you'll be rolling into Tishomingo from the west. Go on thru town and, not very far east will be the Blue River Public Hunting and Fishing Area sign. Turn left/north and keep going straight until you get there.

I would go 289 then 82 west then 377 north [a bridge is washed out so you take a detour but it is very well marked]. Just a tad past Tishomingo you will take a left on Bullard Chapel Rd. There will be a sign telling you where to turn. This will take you to the camp area of the Blue. If you are wanting to go to the Catch and Release area I will let someone else tell you how to do that easier.

This may be helpful. Video we posted when one of our Blog Readers asked the question on how we get to the Blue River. We are coming from DFW area, but the info starting at 8:22 of the video would be apply to someone coming from the other direction...
