You need to revisit rob... Spotted bass is 3.64! The record Smallie is 4.75 caught in 06 on a blade! Damn nice Smallie! doh, eyes crossed when you get my age, you'll know someday.

My dad caught one in a tourney the year before last that was over 5#'s on Grapevine. He got big bass with the smallie.
I have a picture but can't figure out how to post it.

My dad caught one in a tourney the year before last that was over 5#'s on Grapevine. He got big bass with the smallie.
I have a picture but can't figure out how to post it. Was it in the Tx3 bass? If so I remember that fish! Weighed 5.15 I believe and I took the pic! I told him it was a new lake record. I took the pic and he put the fish back in the weigh bag and take them right back down to the lake!

I bet Ray Bob kicks out a 6+ in the next couple of years. It will probably be caught by Brad on one of his crankbaits. Lol that's funny, I sure wish I could catch a 6lb smallie. Beautiful smallie too, shocked a fish like that was caught out there with the water conditions like they are right now.

Im NOT surprised it was caught with the water like this. The big ones get out of their groove. The groove that let them get this big in the first place. The water like it is scatters a lot of good fish, and sometimes they scatter to where a guy "thinks" is a great place. Then hookset.
