Has anyone caught any there this year? The water has been just plain muddy for months and I have had no luck at all with trout. I haven't seen that many people fishing and haven't seen a single trout caught. Any tips/suggestions for trout fishing in water that is THAT off-colored?
Thanks in advance.

I was fishing a pretty murky pond (greenbriar lake,ft worth) 2 days ago and had some luck caught 2 12 inch trout and one 8 inch. I had luck with a white rooster tail and some chartreuse trout power bait. But havent been to Tyler this year..if that doesnt work throw some black or blue jigs/lures. Hope this helps

Thanks for the response. I have not tried white but have black, firetiger, silver, brass, yellow w/red dots-all the "old reliables" and not a bite. Will give white a try next time.

I fish a VERY murky pond here in Austin-- got 2 on chartreuse powerbait and 1 on flo. orange, carolina rigged-- then got 2 on a 1/8 rooster tail (the silver one with black cross marks)
