put this one on the calendar for those of you in North Texas!!!!!

I hate I work every Saturday to bad they don't put some of the fish in the running water below the dam. I know the water board puts in a little bigger fish than say pk. Heck I can get there in 5 min from my work yet I'm stuck. With the flow recently there put half below the dam be some great flyfishing. If something changes for some strange reason I'll see y'all there

Well how about that! Looks like TFF's own keebranch is speaking. For those of you that live in that area I would suggest going to hear him. Super nice guy and knows some great spots.

Thanks for the information. As a new to fly fishing guy I'm circling in this date on my calendar.

On a side note TRWD stocked 2200 trout in Trinity park Thursday. Much bigger than the TPWD fish stocked last Wednesday. I took 2 days of vacation and blanked out while bait and super duper fishers were pulling them in. I limited out on the TPWD fish a week earlier but didn't even get a bite this week.

I noticed that FlyFest has a seminar on streamer stripping for trout and I think I will definitely hit that one.
Also interested in fishing local streams and rivers and the Trinity.

As a matter of fact there are so many good things going on that I will have to figure out which ones to go to as some of them are occurring at the same time.

I would check it out, but I don't know keebranch's name and Fly Fest doesn't use TFF handles.

Yea some of the water board fish are in the 12 in range some years

I live in Mansfield and I have been wanting some information on creeks to fish in the area.

Lots of great water around most with very little to no pressure. I may see if I can get someone to cover for me for a bit and make it down there.

I will be presenting a bass fishing the trinity river presentation right before Frank Smethurst comes in and does one on flyfishing the world!!!
