We all wish we could have 15 200 dollar rods, but for those of us who can't, what's the best budget brand out there. Let's say with a price range around 50-75. I know a lot of good ones can be had around the $100 mark, so let's exclude those here. ready... Set... Go

Are they 50 dollars normally or is that a sale?

The academy ethos rods are great and you can always exchange them.

Find used rods of your liking on here. I spend 40-80 on used low riders,Buccoo,13 omen. I'm as budget as it gets. All my stuff was stolen last year so I can't go out and buy $200 rods. Tff has a lot of great people to deal with as well as good deals. Just keep an eye out.

Pflueger has a decent lower end reel. Can't beat Ugly Stik lite rod for price.

I use Team Daiwa rods, will use Airds next as they are about $50-$60/each and Express Mettles reels, they work great and I have compared them to Dobyns Savvy and can't tell a difference. save yourself the money. The H2O Academy Ethos rods are good too, have a couple of those as well. So many good low cost options now.
