I had an absolutely great time on FAYETTE with some really fun clients from the D/FW area. We boated over 30 bass. We got on fish right away with a quick double, and had four in the boat within minutes. The action picked up as the day went on. The highlight of the trip was the FAT one caught below!! What made it even more special was it was his PB, and HIS BIRTHDAY!! The fishing trip was a gift from his older brother. This trip meant a lot to me, as I have been under the weather, and off the radar a little bit, but still trying to "sneak in" fishing trips though previously not 100%. Setting hooks and watching fish caught on my boat is perhaps THE best cure! I love it, and get more addicted, and enthused every year. IT NEVER GETS OLD! Many people ask, "When's the best time to go fishing?" And I think we all know the answer to that! Many people are "waiting for the water to warm up". We're catching fish NOW, and it will just continue to get better! I will be hammering various places (Austin, Fayette, and of course my "home waters" of the Guadalupe in the NB/Mcqueeney area)......Let's go catch some fish!

I know that tree in the first pic anywhere. Never have caught anything off it though.
