It's still quite chilly here in the Celina-Prosper area but I've heard 3 or 4 anglers claim mid February is pre-spawn.

Absolutely. Once the days start getting longer is usually when I'll start fishing prespawn patterns. Heard of some reported water temps in the low 60s on Fork yesterday...
