This post is simple. This isn't a peter extension contest. Rather just a way for you to gauge what you think about your current rig so others will maybe find it useful. Let's not get into disagreements, just simply post your experience. List year, model, motor, and trailer. Rank the big 3. Here we go...I'll start. 8 out of 10 2008 Legend Alpha 199. Boat is as solid as it gets but narrow up front. Excellent ride some spray. 5 out of 10 Mercury Pro Xs 225. Running SOB, but on Second Power Head. 3 out of 10 EZ Loader Trailer. Turd of a trailer. Constant trouble with brakes, axle, rust on fenders. I've sanded and painted the fenders 2 times. Only good thing is it still rolls.

My little Nitro has been a BEAST! It's 17 years old. Looks like new from 10-15ft away. Bwahhhhhaaaaahhaaaaa. It is small, sucks on big lakes. Gets to spots anything larger couldn't dream of getting to. Nothing spent on the boat other than routine mantainence. And the every-so-often upgrade. Boat....5 Motor....4 Trailer....9 Given its age and what I paid for it Boat....9+ Motor....7 Trailer....10 Honestly. This boat is on a lake 3-4 days a week. Every week. Rain, snow, shine, wind....whatever. Very dependable. Remarkable even given its age and thousands of hours on it. It looks as good as most 1-2 yr old boats. Runs great for its size/HP. AND HAS CAUGHT more fish than most boats will ever have in them. Lol It is a 10+ on value. Since this picture at Table Rock, it has been given new carpet, new trolling motor, new live well system, motor repainted, and gel coat reconditioned.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

2015 ZX225 way better then '87 I had forever lol rides great. Trolling motor is noisy. Love the storage. No probs so far with trailer and glad its powder coated. Boat 9 out of 10. Horn never worked and I don't like how close to front the pedestal is when I use it. Trailer 9 out of 10. Motor 10 out of 10 low maintenance is wonderful. Wife gives it 10 of 10. Says I look sexy in it Boat is so smooth over big waves.

2000 Skeeter ZX185 limited edition
Boat combo has been a 9 out of 10 mechanically, only had the fuel pump fixed and it was under warranty.
Gel stress cracks 4 out of 10, getting quite a few now.
Yamaha 10 out of 10, been awesome.
EZ loader 5 out of 10, some rust but not too bad. Never had to do anything to it.
Only drawback, it still has rack steering. It handles 2' (crest to trough) waves decently but it hates the waves that Falcon & Amistad makes.

2014 Ranger Z118 w/ Evinrude E-Tec 150 Boat - 8: Fit, finish, & quality are hard to beat. It doesn't get a 10 because it's only 18'8"...rough & little wet when while running if breezy, but very stable with trolling motor down. Motor - 8: Been reliable & trouble-free so far, but it's only a one-fitty so definitely not a speed demon. Will touch 59mph by myself & 1/2 tanks...55mph loaded w/ 2 & a full tank. Hoping to gain a few mphs having my prop worked and may go to lithium power. Trailer - 10: SOLID

1992 Ranger 364V 2008 Evinrude E-tec 150 Boat - 8.5/10 - Sweet little rig, love it more than my last 20.5" charger. Easy to tow. Stable ride, been across fork in a bad chop, got wet. Gets in tight spots. Deck is tiny!!!! But big enough for me. Motor - 10/10 - 2008 Evinrude E-Tec, Absolutley love it! No issues, lots of power, sips fuel and oil. Quiet, really pushes the boat nicely. Trailer - 9.5/10 - No complaints besides needs a Fulton Jack. I'd love to have a new rig, but I've owned 5 or 6 bass boats at the age of 17-18, worked hard for them, super proud of each one and this ranger is my baby.

I am not knocking anyone else's boat but after being in Rangers, for over 30 years, the Phoenix is hands down the best boat I have ever owned.

2004 Stratos PRO 275 XL 90 HP Johnson Boat - 9 out of 10 Johnson - 9 out of 10 Trailer - 8 out of 10 OVERALL - 8 out of 10 (it's not new but it is like new NOW - ton of money spent) Rig is in great shape but, it's a 17 1/2' rig Wish the rig had the max motor it would handle 135 or 140 HP Spent a fortune on it...( my first rig LOL - so everything is not what a tournament guy would want ) Why I rate it: IT'S MINE....everything paid for !!! Makes it a great rig.... Overall, I'm happy. Worked great on Toledo Bend God Bless

'87 Winner, 17.5'
9/10 on the boat. Even for an oldie, it has plenty of storage. The deck is good size for the boat. It comes back to 1.5' from the console. 8/10 on the power plant. '87 Yamaha ProV150. Runs like a champ. When I can keep fuel to the thing it will still run 57mph. Changing out all fuel lines due to a bit of old age showing itself.
It's my first boat and I can't complain a bit. It's paid for, floats, easy to load and haul, and best of all I don't have to worry about scratching the old girl!!! Not that I do intentionally.
