The wire keeper does tear up jigs, but it helps to cut it off short as they are making them to long. The best way is use about three small rings on a very thin collar. I think Bobby Garland is planning on using these. But the trouble with it is to much weight behind the jig eye, and the tail hangs down on the light weights. Maybe someone will come up ones that works someday.
