The boat icon is not oriented with the direction of the transducer - it is off about 45 degrees. It was working fine until my last trip.
Any ideas?

Describe your installation.
What is your experience with using a sonar/GPS unit?
What is your Chart Orientation setting?

Wayne, it is mounted with a transducer arm on my kayak. Plenty of experience using FF, sonar, and GPS, but first combo unit. As stated earlier, it was doing fine until my last trip.

Did you add the AS GPS HS antenna to your unit?
Edited, your unit will not support that antenna.
The boat icon on the chart view has nothing to do with the transducer. The transducer is for sonar, not GPS. The GPS antenna is inside the display.
The boat icon on the Chart view will point in the direction you are going. 45 degrees from North can be North West or North East.
If you want the boat icon to always point at the top if the Chart view, use the Course Up setting and the map will rotate to have your direction of travel at the top of the view.

No. If that is the problem, why would it have worked properly and then not?

I had no idea where the GPS antenna was - but was told it is in transducer. That didn't sound right to me, but I wasn't going to argue about it.
I did change the position of the unit on my last trip, which would explain why it was working before and not now. I have it mounted to my side and turned slightly sideways, probably about...45 degrees. Imagine that.
Thanks
