In my Kayak , still getting used to using the fishfinder its the Lowrance Elite 4 with chirp .

What was the depth?

Could that be all shad?? I know a few weeks back I was snagging a lot of shad biggest was probably 12".

That looks like schools of shad.

The bite has been so bad there were only 5-6 people out there and I first offered to tell them what I saw , they were actually eager to know if I could see anything . After going over the spot a few times I then told them what I was seeing and offered to let them see my scans . that spot drops from around 14 ft to 18 in the very middle . I went all the way up to the dart rail track its the deepest spot I could find in the creek . I wish I could upload the contour map I created but I don't know of a way to read it outside of the Insight Web page.

I think it's over for crappie in that creek.

Some days you need to fish between the bends.

If your paddling up the creek from the lake you need to find the three or four ridges that span across the creek

I also tried there recently, but only schools of shad.

Three years ago same bend. Lots more fish back then.
