I have a couple of questions for anyone that upgrades their own reels. I would like to change out my current reel handles with the swept (curved) handles. Are these "universal" for the most part?
In doing this, I'm assuming the star drag will have to be changed as well. Are these basically universal or manufacturer specific?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ebay is a place to look as well. Or just do a google search and see if anyone else has found compatible parts for your particular reel. I know with the swept handles you have to be sure it will work with your star drag. So that is something to keep in mind.
