What's the 411 on crappie on Travis ? Put in on Cypress Creek ramp Friday and fished marinas and docks until wind got up . fishing live bait and jigs from 40 fow and up .. Kyaker how fishes there frequently said they are rare ? Landed a 4.5 lbs black bass and released, but nothing else . any feedback appreciated before I buy a pass for 130.00 😉

Keep your fishing rigs the same and head up to the narrows and look for piles in 15 plus FOW.

Thank you sir! When they spawn are they still deep? The narrows are the creeks ? There are tons of flooded grasses an such around cypress Creek ramp from drought but 8- 10 fow. I really appreciate the tips and advice . grew up around lake o pines and east Texas shallower waters.
