That one right there will fish!!! They all will I'm sure but that Frogger is awesome. Agreed. Just a slightly brighter version of Jigum's Grasshopper (though you helped me pick the name, "Frogger," so I know you knew that) This is a very underrated bait... Great work Jerry !!!Some very good combo's there Thanks, Rad. Been a while and I've tied quite a few since I last saw ya. Appreciate the kind words. Thank you, sir. The silver ones are awesome, but the bloodrunner will prolly out fish them all! Call the Blood Runner "Fire Fly" and it's been a pretty good jig. One of the fun parts of tying (for me) is seeing all the different preferences of fishermen and the jigs/equipment preferred. Thanks, Mel! SWEET mess of ties there Jerry!! Well Done! Thank you, Vern, I appreciate it.

All sweet ties..... What color paint is that on the jig in the 2nd pic? Thank you, sir. I get that question with a lot of my paints. This is a HIGHLY custom paint that even I can't replicate. It was sold as Yellow Tang Pearl a few years back but it's no longer available anywhere. I get a lot of flake/fleck additives from a few places that do business in the automotive powder paint industry. Yellow Tang Pearl received double the yellow pigmentation to achieve the look it has. I buy a good portion of my paints by the lb and use additives to tweak the paints till I find the look I want. I keep the bulk paints stored in separate/larger air-tight canisters. I only pull the lb containers out to fill up 2-4 oz containers that I used to dip my heads when painting. I would not advise this practice unless you have a SOLID storage place for your paints (must be uber dry storage and a relatively constant environment)... Also - if you want to mix your own paints, start SMALL with your mixtures. Get some type of small measuring device that you know (absolutely sure) that your measurements will be accurate/consistent from scoop-to-scoop. As you mix new mixtures, log your ratios of colors used so when you do achieve the look you're after, you'll know the exact recipe to recreate any given paint. Grab some clear coat and glitter and tinker with them as over coats to standard colors before trying to achieve extravagant looking custom paints. Some of the fanciest paints I use are the easiest to create and some are even sold as pre-mixed custom powder paints. Thanks for the kind words, SK! Anyone reading this can feel free to private message or call me before you start burning $ with paint mixing....

I make/use the same jig, but with Flo Yellow tail. Yes sir, love the Blood Runner. I've tied a few with the chartreuse tails as well. Seems like they all produce nicely. Saaweet, thanks for the info JT.... Yes sir.
