Spring Lizard Waterdog was taking a short break Sunday afternoon from writing a book based on his years fishing Toledo Bend, tournaments and working in the fishing industry when I caught up with him at a private water boat ramp. I seized the opportunity to ask him about his favorite crank colors. One of many he mentioned he likes a lot is Tennessee Shad.
This is my first attempt at an adaptation of Tennessee Shad. Instead of using mesh to shoot the scales on, I cobbled a scale pattern on foil. Figure it will take several more attempts to nail the pattern down to exactly what Im hoping for but pleased with the beginning of the journey. ~ Blue Moon

Thanks Brad! This week looks great for me as well now that I finally have my truck back. It was in the shop all last week. I'll give you a shout to figure out the best time for you.
