Went out Saturday 1/30/2016 hit the spillway about 7:15am, 2 guys already fishing the current, saw about 4 crappie(using chartreuse and white jigs) keeper that the guy kept, 2 15-18lb carp(based on size and girth) caught on pink and light red curly tail grubs, we caught a mammoth 5in LMB, and a dinky channel cat, did not see any whites being caught, there was a couple of bait cast nets being thrown but did not see any bait being caught(net was being thrown at top of spillway , not downstream). Lots of water still being released, finally left about 11:45am, nice to see that there were some kids out there with mom and dad doing some bank fishing. Sorry no photos, still learning how to post those things. fish

Don't go unless you want someone to break into your stuff. Have the gates been opened? Because I wouldn't go unless you can drive into the spillway.
