 Nice colors on the female Common Carp full of eggs

I caught a very hard fighting female Common Carp today in Denton. She was 2 feet long and weighed 8 lbs 4 oz. Nearly all the female carp I have caught recently are full at the belly with eggs and really showing off there beautiful colors. Fins turning to bright red towards the tip. Only fish of the day but I did get a great nap in the warm January sun!
