Nice fish Chuck. Love that BIG Bluegill! Going to be kayaking that river in late spring. Jeff and I will be spending two days there. Can't wait! Side Note: Have you caught any Guadalupe Bass in that river? Also how is the current, and water conditions in general? Thanks.

Thanks Curtis for the reply! You should have a blast kayaking in the spring time. River is in GREAT SHAPE! Have not caught any Guadalupe Bass on the Sabinal. I did catch a couple on the Nueces River this past summer. The Frio,Nueces, and Sabinal are in pretty good shape. Water is crystal clear with good current.

Nice mess of Rainbows Chuck. That Great Southwest fishing has agreed with you. Been seeing some great post from there over the years. Good job.
Side Note: What is the best river to fish? Also is most of the property private?

Thanks Gitter for the reply. Love all three rivers. Sabinal,Firo, and Nueces and West Nueces are FANTASTIC places to fish. Public property is very hard to find in that area. I know a couple of land owners and have permission on several spots where I can fish year around. There are a couple of parks that have ample bank space where the public can fish year around. Also some of the river camps offer day passes to fish for around eight to ten dollars. Well worth it.

Looking forward to seeing those great South West postings.
