Does anyone use these? I believe most of them are 3/4" thick and I think the screws that came with my Humminbird are longer than that. I sent in the transducer for exchange to the HDSI so I don't have the screws at the moment. I am concerned that shorter screws might not hold the transducers.

Once you know where it is going, glue and screw it with the shorter screws. It should hold

The last three boats I have had used them. Only way to go no holes in transom. Never had a problem of them coming off.

What Johnny said, plus if you need to raise or lower it it doesn't require re sealing the screws.

Yep, glued mine on with 5200, and got some shorter SS screws. No problems.

I just went Wal-Mart and found a cutting board and cut it up to size. Used some 3m 5200 and mounted transducer to it
