You can see how to make a box anchor on YouTube. I love mine but frankly I think I'm going with a trolling motor with anchor lock. Heard nothing but good things.

Fab, is that digger anchor that much better than a danforth fluke anchor? Do you need to use an anchor chain? How much rope do you have to let out? Just wondering if the price is worth it.

Go to an electrical supply and buy your rope.Comes on big reels. Most are 600' Roll the rope off the spool on the ground or street. Pull the end back to the start. Cut in the middle for two 300' anchor ropes. For tight lining cut bait for Catfish & Stripers this is the setup.Plenty of ropeand some chain improve most anchors 100%
For live baiting and quick test spots of tightlining use the I-Pilot.

Boyle's anchor is also a good choice. Made in Houston. Benn using them for years, Also easy to stow.
