Went both Saturday and Today. Didn't get one in the boat. Was obviously tough for me. Had some bites today but never hooked one. Despite the tough outing I met a couple of people off the forum and learned some new areas. I fished with a couple of buddies so all in all it was a good weekend despite the tough fishing. Water temps were between 48 - 55. Water clarity was best near main lake areas but wasn't all that bad running up in the larger creeks. This is all relative to Little Caney, north of the dam to Wolf Creek at the furthest and just south of the Minnow Bucket to the dam.

Fished from 12-6 and didn't have a bite till 5:30, caught a 2 pounder in some willow trees. Put in at LFM and made our way to little caney. Water was stained at mid-lake but much better further south. I found water temps 52-57, depending on where we were on the lake. Wish I knew how to run little caney better, crossing my fingers and flooring it is taking its toll on me.

I chose not to take pics of the chaos. That's kinda like adding insult to injury and felt it would be rude.

We found 53-58 degree water on the south end of the lake. I caught 12 and my wife caught 6. It was windy. Water clarity depends on what part of the lake you were on.

I ended up not fishing.. too much maintenance that has been neglected over the last couple of months. I drug the boat home and cleaned up battery acid all afternoon. I will have to go back and get after them soon!!!

Went saturday for just a couple of hours. Caught one. Wind was howling but it was fun to get back on the water
