Hey guys!, you prob remember me from the post the other day. Saturday is the day I'm going out to catch some bluegills for the frying pan at a private pond. It's very well kept and the water is about 10 ft deep at the center. Could I fish power bait nibbles and worms? It's predicted to be in the mid 60s on Saturday. hmmm

Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

Worms are probably the best bait of all. I also remember as a kid catching tons of sunfish on little pieces of shrimp. Just a little chunk on the perch hook. We caught tons of them. I remember my dad griping at us saying we should be spending our time catching something worth keeping. As a kid we were all about the quantity in our minds. roflmao

I use flies and artificial most of the time while fishing for Gills. Judging by the results on the anglers who post here worms seem to be the best over all bait for gills/sunfish.
