Does anyone know if he has updated the chip to work with Onix units yet? Or has anyone tried the current version on an Onix graph yet?

I bought the download last week. I have Onix 10's and a 1198. I have yet to get the chip downloaded into either unit despite trying everything the website instructed me. Their website is incredibly complicated. Lots of "click here's" and frustration

I have talked to Lori several times since I bought mine. Always very helpful. I bypassed the website.

One thing I learned was to change the line type, it was not showing up well on my units.

It should be easy to convert the data on the chip to work with the ONIX.

With the core units, the data has to be in the Matrix folder for the unit to recognize it.

The ONIX does not use the folder.
Load the data on the card to HumminbirdPC, that creates a file and remove the card.
Put a blank formatted card in your computer and right click on that file name and Save as GPX to that memory card. You will not be using the upload/download card symbol in the left column that you use to load the data to HBPC.
Put that card in the ONIX to load the data.

The key is to hit them wide open throttle. The less boat in the water the better.

Believe the download ZIP files contain both the MATRIX folder and a GPX file.

I left a message for her but never heard back. I have two ONIX 10's but I have a MAC computer. Humminbird PC will not work with a MAC. I can't upload stuff to the Humminbird PC program.

I'm going to use my PC at work. I think all you need is one of those blank cards... hopefully. If it gets much more complicated than that, those stumps better watch out scared
