I know they aren't moving through in numbers yet but has anyone pulled out a limit yet?

Stocked up on rooster tails, mepps spinners, and a few mini umbrella rigs.. Now just waiting on some consistent warm weather so these striped creatures will do their thing up the brazos

Waiting on the weather is the hard part. Tired of these cold fronts. Won't be long though till we have them running.

I'll be fishing there this weekend camping at Hamm Creek. I'm in a 20' fish master CC. Stop by if you see us. Hope the fish cooperate.

Several years ago at this point we caught a big mess of white bass in the brazos up above lake whitney, close to where the Nolan comes in. I'm trying to plan a mid march fishing trip to somewhere. not sure yet. will the whites still be up there by that time?

I'll post a report when I get back. Weather is saying 20-30 + winds Saturday. I'm taking the wife and my 2 year old. Never been to the river above Whitney but I have been below Whitney on a yak. Wish me luck! Fortunately they love fishing as much as I do!
