How is the fishing on this lake? I would like to use my canoe. thanks for your help.

Water very deep and very clear. Many different species of fish in the lake... Walleye is one that most places in Texas does not have. Some fish very deep and some fish the brush and trees in the edges of the lake. some fish the rip-rap on the dam face. Small baits seem to be very good at times. Cloudy days are better due to the very clear water.

Good luck and post up after your trip and tell us how you did...

PS... Their website shows the lake being built and before it filled up... Look at the picts and get a feel of the layout before you go...
