Friend and I are looking to relive some of our former family trips made by grandparents and parents on Reelfoot Lake in Western Tennessee. Have any of you ever fished this lake? We will be going in mid to early april for what we hope is a strong topwater largemouth bite along with good crappie fishing.

We are considering the 'Blue Bank Resort' but some recent reviews have me nervous to stay there. Any input on lodging, guides, and fishing would be great.
Thanks

Ronnie Capps He, wife and family are good people. He's given seminars for CAT and CrappieMasters and many others. Look on the left side bar for Boyett's Resort and click for info. It might be what you're looking for, especially for a family outing you've described.

If you do, tell Ronnie and Kelly hi from CAT.
