I took a trip with James yesterday to Ray Hubbard. I'd only been on the lake a handful of times with moderate success and was hoping to gain some insight to the fishery as we're building a house lakeside which should be complete in few months. Ol' Mother Nature dealt a rough hand. COLD, WINDY, & water temps in the mid to upper 40s. When I booked the trip I told him catching fish wasn't really a priority. My goal for the trip was to observe, get explanations of his thought process/decision making, and possibly get my eyes opened to some techniques I've been overlooking. Considering the conditions, I feel I got my money's worth.

The bite was expectedly tough, but it would have never been on my radar to do what we did to get bit under those conditions. He gave me some great insight on how to maximize my strengths on every outing, how to key in on suspended fish, a logical & methodical approach to break down any lake, along with many other tidbits you wouldn't get on a "put me on fish" guide trip.

I will be booking another trip with him, hopefully under a little bit better conditions, & I recommend his services to any bass angler that is looking to up their game on the water.

Does he have a website? Where do I find info on booking with him? I read in another post that he has info on here but I don't know where to find it.
