That would be a doe with her twin fawns. I used to have a place at Holly Lake Ranch on a 20 ac. pond with an island on the lower end. My back windows looked out over the lake and island. There was an old doe that would always bed her fawns on the island, then go off to feed. When she returned, she would bleat a couple times and the fawns would swim to her from the island. She'd feed them, then they'd run around and frolic for a bit. After that, all three would head off together.
