Anybody been down Pilot Grove recently?

Wondering what the flow and log jam situations are.

Log jams are awful, and with the lower water you end up having to pull the yak up the bank rather than just getting out and dragging it around. Hunting back there has gotten harder and harder as the water has dropped.

This the creek north of 380 on Lavon? If so I'd be interested in checking it out sometime. I just paddled up the river between Lavon dam and Ray Hubbard the other day. It was a nice paddle but no fish caught. Still exploring the lake.

Yeah, not too bad a paddle from twin groves ramp, it doesn't look like. I've never been there, but I think it's got a lot of potential now that there's water. Especially for the sandbass run.

Pilot from 2756 was useless btw. Logjams up river and down river.

Yep log jams bad. Like 50 yards long.....
